Easy Lift - silent and easy door lift
When opening, the door first deviates from the frame and then slides up. When closing, the door slides down and at the very end moves towards the frame, fits tightly to it, eliminating unnecessary air leaks. This proprietary system allows you to achieve tightness of the firebox, get beautiful combustion, and also reduces wear of the sealing cord and increases the reliability of the lifting mechanism. The Easy Lift system is thought out to the smallest detail. There is a special lever on the door, turning which, the glass folds forward like an oven. In this position, the glass is very easy to clean.
Opening the door
This model has a door for loading firewood that opens upwards. The door lifts easily. Almost effortlessly. This is achieved by a counterweight that relieves the weight of the door.
Fire view
The firebox is glazed on two different sides. You can watch the fire from different rooms: from the bedroom and from the living room. Such glass is made in only 2 countries: Germany and Japan. It can withstand temperatures up to 750 degrees. But if you hit it with a poker, it can crack. Through the glass, you admire the fire, watch the firewood burn out and add new ones.
Clean glass system
The "Clean glass" system creates an air flow that cuts off soot. Air is supplied through a special gap above the glass. The guide plate sets the direction of the flow along the glass. The air is taken from the outside and is colder than the fire. It goes down the glass and creates a protective curtain. As a result, you enjoy the view of the burning flame through clean glass.
Smoke collector
The smoke collector is high and has a cone shape. The flue gases rise upward without swirls and accumulate in the upper part of the smoke collector. When you open the firebox door to add wood, 80% less smoke enters the room. A firebox with a high smoke collector has a slightly lower efficiency, but it is more convenient to use.
Grate or hearth combustion
The Brunner Stil-Kamin Tunnel 75/90 does not have a grate. This is a hearth combustion model. Air is supplied to the firebox through special convection slots along the perimeter of the firebox. No matter how much ash accumulates at the bottom, combustion will occur over the entire area of the firebox with maximum efficiency. The advantage of a grateless firebox is that the remaining ash layer contributes to the effective afterburning of flue gases. The combustion coefficient in such fireboxes is close to 100%. Accordingly, the firebox needs to be cleaned much less often compared to the grate.
Damper
The damper closes the cross-section of the chimney. It is used on a non-working device so that warm air from the room is not drawn out to the street. In this firebox, the damper is not built-in. It must be purchased as part of the chimney.
