The Ekko L 55(34) h firebox belongs to the Ekko range by Schmid.  There are three versions of Ekko L 55(34)h, which differ in the height of the viewing glass frame:
Ekko L 55(34)45 h (frame height 45 cm);

Ekko L 55(34)51 h (51 cm high frame);

Ekko L 55(34)57 h (57 cm high frame);

At the customer's request, the company supplies fireboxes with different frame and sight glass frames:

Standard delivery - anthracite frame;

Deco style gilding or chrome plating of the frame (thin 5 mm strip on the frame, matt or glossy);

Full tinting (glossy or matt) of the frame in gilding, stainless steel or chrome;

Concealed frame with tinted glass all round (Kristall style), or on three sides (Kristall+ style).

Fireplace firebox with corner glass, opening upwards, front - 550 mm, side of the glass - 340 mm,

Chimney diameter Ø 180 mm,

Adapter for connection of outside air Ø 125 mm

The body of Schmid fireboxes is made of special steel with thickness from 4 to 5 mm in the most vulnerable places. It is heat-resistant non-alloyed steel and has the properties of not deforming under high temperature loads. Inside each firebox is lined with fireproof chamotte. The use of this material has been tested for decades, it is best suited for the internal lining of the fireplace, having a high protection against thermal. In addition, it is durable, it lasts a long time without losing its properties.
