Ekko U 45(34)h is a panoramic firebox. Due to its small size, this firebox is suitable for rooms from 15 metres square. Thanks to the U-shaped glass, you get an excellent view of the flame from several areas of the room.

The door of the firebox opens upwards and also to the side for cleaning the glass.

The width of the door frame is 45 cm. The depth of the glass is 34 cm.

Chimney diameter - Ø 180 mm.

Outdoor air adapter Ø 125 mm.

The Schmid Ekko U 45(34)h fireplace firebox has three different heights for the viewing glass frame:

• Ekko U 45(34)51 h (51 cm frame height); price: €6,906.
• Ekko U 45(34)57 h (57 cm high frame); price - 7,128 euros

On request, this model can be supplied with a different frame for the loading door:

Standard delivery - anthracite frame;

Deco style gilding or chrome plating of the frame (5 mm thin strip on the frame, matt or glossy);

Full tinting (glossy or matt) of the frame in gilding, stainless steel or chrome;

Concealed frame with tinted glass all round (Kristall style), or on three sides (Kristall+ style).

Description of functional and technological features of Ekko U 45(34)h firebox:

• The material of the furnace body - heat-resistant non-alloyed steel with thickness from 4 to 5 mm provide structural strength and resistance to high temperatures without deformation;
  
• The material of the hood (smokebox) is 8 mm thick cast iron, as the smokebox cannot be lined with heat-resistant materials and steel is not suitable as a material.
• PRIMARY & SECONDARY’ double air supply system with quick ignition, long burning and secondary afterburning of waste. 
• The ‘TWIN AIR stream’ system works on the principle of blowing hot air over the inner surface of the glass during combustion in the firebox. Excellent view of the flame.
  
• The smoke flue ends with a swivelling spigot with the possibility to connect to a 180 mm diameter chimney at 90, 180 and 45° (i.e. vertically, horizontally and at an angle).
• The viewing glass is made in Germany, ceramic, heat-resistant up to 800 ° C.
• There is a removable ash pan with a cast iron grate and a convenient handle.
• Adjustment of the air supply intensity is simple and effortless;
• The firebox is equipped with height-adjustable legs.
• The vertical movement mechanism of the door has been developed by Schmid engineers, using bearings patented by the company and an innovative geometry of the door movement on the guides with a perfect pressure effect on the firebox body both during combustion and in the cold state.
• The 9 kW capacity of the firebox is designed for installation in a medium-sized room.
• The guarantee for the firebox is 5 years.
