Description of functional and technological features of the Lina 87h firebox:
- The material of the firebox body is heat-resistant non-alloyed steel with a thickness of 4 to 5 mm. The designers envisaged which parts of the body are made of steel of greater thickness, ensuring the strength of the construction and resistance to high temperatures without deformation;
- The material of the hood (smokebox) is 8 mm thick cast iron. Such a design solution is dictated by the fact that in the smokebox it is impossible to lined with heat-resistant materials, so steel is not suitable as a material.
- The firewood stoking and combustion chamber is lined with heat-resistant chamotte of natural colour with ‘brickwork’ pattern or solid colour. It can be supplied with grey or black lining. Thanks to the internal blowing and smoothness of the material, soot and grime do not settle on the fireclay;
- The PRIMARY & SECONDARY double air supply system has quick ignition, long burning and secondary afterburning functions. This is in compliance with the environmental protection requirements confirmed by the German state quality certificates ‘DIN Plus’ and ‘EFA’.
- The ‘TWIN AIR stream’ system works on the principle of blowing hot air over the inner surface of the glass during combustion in the furnace. The air flow along the glass prevents it from getting dirty and leaves it transparent, giving a good view of the burning logs and the changing play of the fire glow.
- The viewing glass is made in Germany, it is ceramic, heat-resistant and can withstand a temperature of 800° Celsius, which is twice as high as required by the norms.
- There is a removable ash pan with a cast iron grate and a convenient handle.
- Adjustment of the air supply intensity is simple and effortless;
- The firebox is equipped with height-adjustable legs, which ensure a perfectly level installation of the firebox during assembly
- The capacity of the firebox is designed for installation in a medium-sized room, 10 kW, depending on the quality and dryness of the wood.
- The warranty for the firebox and its modifications is 5 years.
- Additional possibility of fresh air supply from outside the room to maintain a high level of oxygen in the place where the firebox is installed.
