Description:

Brunner Urfeuer is for those who want an open fire in their home, who want to feel the energy of the flames and hear the crackle of burning wood. 

Open fireplaces consume a large amount of oxygen for combustion and in order not to open a window in winter, it is necessary to supply oxygen to the combustion chamber from outside. To realise this function in open brick fireplaces is very difficult and sometimes not possible at all.

But the open fireplace Urfeuer from the German brand Brunner is fully autonomous and does not consume oxygen from the room at all, because it has an air supply to the combustion chamber from the street. The air inlet is realised through a 250 mm diameter duct and then it is supplied to the most optimal places in the combustion chamber.

In order to protect the floor from sparks, this firebox is equipped with a built-in mesh - guillotine.

During periods when the fireplace is not in use, cold air is drawn down the chimney into the room. To prevent this, the Urfeuer firebox is equipped with an airtight valve.

Also this firebox gives the opportunity to get the maximum heat output from the open fireplace with the possibility of heat distribution to adjacent rooms, which is impossible to achieve from an open fireplace made of bricks.

The welded double-wall fireplace firebox is made of steel and the combustion chamber is made of cast iron in the form of thick 8 mm plates, which pass into the mounting frame.
